A little bit about me.....

  Audrey Bunt

 Born in Cork, Ireland, a resident of Canada for 20 years now living in Prince Edward Island on the eastcoast. I take a contemporary style to my work and enjoy enhancing the color and tone of a subject.
 I am constantly searching out new subjects to paint and explore. Inspiration comes from a walk on the one of the many beautiful beaches on the island, to setting up a photo shoot with interesting objects, borrowed or bought, with a still-life in mind.
My work is in collections in Canada, the U.S., Ireland and China, and is regularly exhibited in exhibitions and shows, at provincial and national level.

“I love the process of painting. From a concept
  in my head, a simple pencil outline sketch.
 Drawing with paint, a little at time, until a
moment is captured, holding it on canvas.”

Audrey Bunt is  an active  member of the
 Federation of Canadian Artists.

  In 2009 Audrey has been honored by being invited to participate in the Jean-Paul
International Symposium in Chicoutimi, Quebec.
